The one day (6 hour) General Familiarisation courses are here for a basic and general understanding of the aircraft, they can be targeted at supporting persons in CAMO, airline support roles, Part 145 support roles, Aircraft Mechanic persons (non-certifying), Aircraft Leasing support roles, Ground support & Maintenance staff or anyone with an interest in the aircraft – General Familiarisation courses are used in maintenance for engineers (certifying staff) for limited tasks such as line maintenance, however the 1 day course is not intended for maintenance staff who will certify – this would require the longer 5 day general familiarisation course; it is important to realise the scope and intent of the course before proceeding – if you are unsure, or book the incorrect course you can always contact us and we will be happy to help info@oat.aero
The course considers both the Boeing 777 200/300 Series Passenger & Freight Variants as fitted with General Electric GE90 series, Pratt & Whitney PW4000 & Rolls Royce Trent 800 Engines.

Aims
The course will allow you to define the general layout, systems and powerplant options for the aircraft and following this a certificate for the course is issued.

Course is taught to achieve regulations specified in EASA Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014) Part-66 Appendix III Level 1 & UK CAA Regulation (EU) No. 1321/2014 Part-66 Appendix III Level 1 designed to provide you with a simple description of the aircraft and systems.
Duration
Suggested duration for completion is 6 hours of learning.
Interval for continuation
There is no requirement to have interval continuation training for this course. The course can be used for many purposes such as refreshing knowledge after being away from the type for a period of time or introducing the type initially.
