The EWIS Training – Groups 1 & 2 course is designed to provide aviation personnel with an introductory understanding of Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) and their importance to aircraft safety and reliability.
The course covers the fundamental concepts of EWIS, including wiring identification, protection, contamination risks, and common factors that contribute to wiring degradation. Learners will be introduced to best practices that support safe operation, inspection awareness, and error prevention related to aircraft wiring systems.
This training is intended for personnel whose roles require general EWIS awareness rather than detailed inspection or maintenance tasks. It supports regulatory compliance by promoting understanding of wiring safety responsibilities within the aviation environment.
Successful completion of the course and associated online assessments will result in the issue of a course completion certificate.
