Description
The EWIS Training – Groups 3, 4 & 5 course is designed for aviation personnel whose responsibilities involve direct interaction with aircraft wiring systems, including inspection, maintenance, repair, and oversight activities.
The course builds on fundamental EWIS knowledge and focuses on advanced topics such as wiring installation practices, inspection techniques, damage assessment, contamination control, repair standards, and continued airworthiness requirements. Learners will gain a deeper understanding of how wiring integrity impacts aircraft safety and reliability.
Emphasis is placed on recognising wiring-related hazards, applying correct maintenance practices, and ensuring compliance with applicable EWIS regulatory guidance. The training also supports effective error prevention and promotes safe working behaviours when performing wiring-related tasks.
This course is suitable for licensed engineers, technicians, inspectors, and supervisory personnel who require advanced EWIS competency as part of their role.
Successful completion of the course and associated online assessments will result in the issue of a course completion certificate.
